This bathroom project wasn't quite my husband's Everest, but it required more perseverance than I think either one of us realized, but it's finally over!! Hooray!! It looks beautiful and my husband did a professional looking job!! Three cheers...
So here's the breakdown:
The mirror was updated in the old bathroom. The one before it was screwed from the front into the wall and looked to be homemade! I picked it up at Shopko about five years ago. You can find a similar one here. The cute frame was in the old bathroom as well, but got an updated picture! Here is a fun frame to consider since ours is no longer available.
The vanity can be purchased at Menards, as well as the champagne metal backsplash.
We purchased this also about 5 years ago for the old bathroom. I really like the glass that kind of distracts from the products within. Meijer no longer carries ours, but here's another option!
This super sweet, no leak shower unit came from Home Depot. It cost a little more, but because the other bathroom had mold due to a cheap surround, Justin found the best option. We don't want to go through this again!!
I wish the pictures did justice to the excellent drywall job that Justin did. He is getting so good! I love the colors and the fact that the smaller vanity makes the room look a but larger. I wish I had a before pic. for you, but just trust me this bathroom isn't even in the same league as what it was. AND, bonus, Justin doesn't have to share a bathroom with me anymore! I bet he snuck some of my fancy products when he was showering though :)
I hope you got some great ideas for your bathroom and enjoyed seeing some of the progress. Good luck with your future projects! Just remember that Justin is an accountant with limited experience on this scale of project. He said there should be a plaque on the door thanking Google and You Tube for their helpful videos.
