Swiss Steak, crockpot style

Easy Slow-Cooked Swiss Steak Recipe

Totally forgot to take a picture of this dish, but it really did look like this one from Pinterest! That's why your not seeing my funky blue plate :)

Crockpot Swiss Steak

2 lbs Round of flank steak, tenderized
1-2 large onions sliced
1- 8 0z. can tomato sauce
1 large can diced tomatoes with Italian seasoning

Place the onions in the bottom of the crock (can I use that like slang) until there is a decent layer. Season your steak and then whack it like crazy or season the one you bought already tenderized like I did. I like Lawry's or Big Boy Seasoning Salt and pepper on both sides. Throw the steak in on top of the onions. Top with tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. I serve this over chunky mashed potatoes, it's another easy and delicious family dinner!
Enjoy!
