Geometry

We just began our unit on Geometry this week. We have described and discussed: circles, squares, rectangles, triangles, hexagons, and the rhombus. The kids really enjoyed putting pattern block shapes within a shape yesterday. Here are some shots for you to enjoy!

I totally pulled them away from their work so I could get all their adorable faces in... I will say it was the quietest my class has ever worked. They were so focused and I clipped them all up for it! :)

Pretty creative stuff happening here. They couldn't do it the same way twice and I liked seeing all the combinations they came up with.
