Happy Halloween

A little Halloween recap... I am exhausted!!

I made 42 cupcakes on Wednesday night. Luke helped lick the frosting!

These little ones went to Luke's room at his "school". I got the idea for the witch's hat and broom from Pinterest. I think they turned out adorable. Nana and he helped with the sprinkles and decorating, too!

I made some extra special ones for my little firsties, too. During the day the Candy Corn Bandit came and stole them. We had to go on a scavenger hunt to find our missing treat. Luckily Mrs. King our secretary found them in the PTO room. We must have scared that Bandit away when we were on our search. The class was a little excited and had some trouble sneaking up on him! :)

Luke and his Daddy carved some amazing pumpkins on Wednesday night as well. Luke was very interested, but didn't like the pumpkin guts on his hands.

Luke got to pick out all the shapes he wanted for his pumpkin. He chose a trapezoid mouth, moon and circle eyes, and a wavy line mouth. I think they look awesome. My boys did a great job!

Last night Luke went out as Henry Hugglemonster to visit our family and get some treats. He had a super fun night and like all kids was still bouncy at 10 o'clock when I was really trying to get him to sleep. Justin and I were burnt out by 7! :)

I hope you all had a fantastic Halloween night. If you want to email me your child's picture if they are in my classroom, I would love to show a costume parade on the blog. I really missed seeing all the kids dressed up.
