Last week we did a math activity where the students had to trace their feet on graph paper and count the number of squares that their foot covered... a sneaky teacher way of getting them to practice counting by 1's. They didn't even know that was the point! :)
When they were done we made a graph of our data!
There's a little overlap between the two pictures, sorry about that! It was fun to see who had the least to most squares and many of the kids had the same size feet! This was also the perfect way to move into our new unit on collecting and analyzing data.
