Stella turned 5 months old yesterday. She is still happy and smiley. She loves playing with Sophie the Giraffe and her big brother, who has now fully accepted the gigantic change that came along with her. He LOVES giving her kisses and playing her "baby" games. She is starting to get 2 teeth on the bottom and has rolled over a handful of times. She's pretty shy with her giggles, but when you get her going, they come from her toes!
She is learning to take a bottle because, tear tear, in another week I have to officially go back to work. (I know how lucky I am... it doesn't make it any easier!) She would love to have anything that we are eating and watches in rapture as we put food in our mouths. She has even pretended to scoop some herself. Poor Stella, in one more month you can have some.
She likes her baths and has started splashing and kicking with her feet A LOT, which she doesn't like. She gets very serious about the whole business for about 3 minutes and then frowns and cries. You gotta soap that girl up immediately because you never know how long it will be before she is done. Girl loves to be nudy though!!
She would really like to get her toes, she just.can't.reach them yet... but she's close! Her sleep has been pretty unpredictable this last month and I fully blame the teeth. She has been staying awake a lot longer in the daytime and can entertain herself pretty well.
AND did I mention she is adorable!!!
