Stella got this super sweet, feet kicking piano last weekend from her Papa. She really loves it as you can see!! This is what she does while I get ready in the morning. It's adorable watching her play with it!!
She actually gets this twinkle in her eye that's like, "Hey mom, look at me... do you see that? I'm pretty awesome, right!?"
I hope you enjoy the video! :)
My sweet little ones had their first 3 full days at daycare. It went pretty well, except Stella only sleeps 20 minutes ALL. DAY. LONG!! I asked her teacher Miss Stacey what the problem was and she said that she loves to snuggle her blanket and when they have to take it away she wakes up. Poor Stella, she really loves that blanket from Auntie Kaye!!
Luke was WAY sweet this week and made his momma's heart melt.
On Tuesday night while snuggling in his bed he said, "My friends told me it's okay Luke don't be sad, cheer up Luke."
I said,"Luke why were you sad?"
He said, "I want to see Miss Stella at school."
I replied, "Oh, do you miss your sister when you are there?"
To which he said, "Yesh." (Yes in Lukenese)
So we practiced. I told him if he ever feels like that just ask Miss Tracey and we role played a little.
The next morning he walked into the kitchen, squared his shoulders, and said, "I will say to Miss Tracey can I see Miss Stella please?"
Is that sweet or what?? As it turns out, they let him stay with her a bit that morning
and
he really only wanted to play with the toys in her room, I think, but hey... it was still totally darling!!
Luke also watched his 2nd full length Disney movie which he will tell you by saying, "Luke likes Lilo and Stitch and Luke thinks Stitch is a silly puppy and it's a great movie. Can we watch it?" So you bet we did the next night! :) Maybe we'll have to have another family movie night this weekend!
