Little sister has been nine months old for a little while now and it has been a huge month for development! She had a MAJOR month of teething and what we thought were simply her top eye teeth coming through ended up being all four of her front top teeth, yikes, no wonder she wouldn't sleep. I told the doctor she must be practical like her father because most girls would be working on hair!!
She has a few words that she actually says and has meaning, mama, dada, and kit cat for Claire Belle. She also claps when we cheer, which is kinda my jam lately, it is so adorable. Stella also does what looks like the hands clasp and shakes them on either side of her head and I imagine she's saying, "Here, here," which is silly!
Her doctor's appointment was fast and no shots. I only know she was 19 lbs. I don't think they shared her height or head circumference and the doctor didn't discuss it or tell me how huge she was, so she must be doing great!
Stella has decided to make herself exclusively breastfed and has been off of food for over 3 weeks... hopefully this is a teeth related issue and will pass soon! She does however want to try things we are eating, even though it generally gets spit out or she will only try it once!
Her favorite things are her brother, the cat, and the dogs. I am still up there but only when she wants to eat or sleep! Daddy has become the sleep whisperer and can hold her and she falls fast asleep. Pretty awesome!
AND THE BIG NEWS IS...
she is officially a crawler!
Which means we no longer have a Christmas tree! :)
Her new nicknames are Stella Trouble Chernick or Miss Chevious. She basically wants to be everywhere she shouldn't and little sister is fast too! She's not messing around! Luke didn't have this phase. He was pretty chill until 3 yrs. old. Justin thinks Stella is going to give us LOTS of extra greys. And she's a tease, when she crawls towards you her eyes twinkle and smile. It is sooo great!
She pulls up to standing and can't wait to chase her brother, who is very into her too! :)
