Happy Holidays!

On Christmas Eve we had brunch at Nana's house and the kids got TONS of great presents!!

Stella played peek-a-boo with her new jammies.

Couldn't get my boy to give a nice natural smile... we think we figured out just when to snap the picture now though so we don't end up with this! Why do some kids do this?? It cracks me up!

Stella was awesome at opening her own presents and waved the paper like a prize before she tried to taste it!

Christmas Eve night Luke and Justin went to his family's farm, as per yearly Chernick/Piche tradition, but Stella was still recovering from some nasty virus and we had to stay back. I was VERY jealous of all the delicious food I knew Justin was eating because all we had at home were wheat thins and easy cheese! I also missed mass and was so bummed because I thought Luke would especially like all the familiar Christmas music... probably not the 2 hour ceremony though!

We sprinkled reindeer food as soon as he got home and put out milk and cookies for Santa. We also had to say goodbye to Happy our Elf.

Christmas morning was magical and awesome! Luke opened his big race car track and said...

"This is amazing. Just what I wanted!"

Love the wonder Christmas morning brings!

My parents came by after we had our little family time and we enjoyed another brunch!

I accidentally gave my dad the wrong present and he graciously said thank you to this very fancy cross I had bought my Aunt Sis. It was very funny... I think he liked his real gifts better!

This year Stella gave her dad-o beard shampoo and beard balm, because she LOVES grabbing it and Luke got him the Snoopy sno cone maker. The kids got me a nail certificate that I can't wait to try! Stella bought Luke a volcano kit and Luke picked out a bath toy for his sweet sister.

We just completed our Christmas on Tuesday with one more stop at Aunt Sissy's house for lasagna and pumpkin pie! Yummy!!

I hope your days were merry and bright!
