I am so glad the temperature has climbed. We were getting a little restless at our house! In order to keep my little guys hands busy we made some sugar cookies. I would love to give you a sensational recipe, but honestly Betty Crocker's pouch of mix is pretty yummy. One Christmas my sister-in-law (who's a great baker) and her hubby asked me for my recipe because they were SO good and I had to admit that I just added butter and an egg... again, I am not a baker! LOL! Luke got to pick out the designs which ranged from shapes, to the letter I, to a smiley face!
My students were more than ready to get outside yesterday, too! Here are a few of my enterprising boys making some very impressive lego structures.
In other Chernick family news, my Great Aunt Sis turned 91 on Friday! She is still living at home and is spunky as ever! We celebrated by taking her to the Buck Inn on Friday night. Luke wouldn't sing "Happy Birthday" to her, but went through several rounds of "She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain" instead!
