So I have all these wonderful pictures of my class to share, but haven't got permission to show all my sweeties on the blog yet. I'm working on it though!!
I put together this center and the kids seem to love it. It was very cheap and easy to do! This center is part of our fine motor station where kids practice pinching to strengthen their hand muscles for writing. The center could also be called the writing center, but it has WAY more in it then just coloring, tracing, and writing materials.
For this basket of fun, I bought the trays from the Dollar Tree. They are probably for appetizers, but if you don't tell the kids I won't. I had a gob-zillion craft pom poms from a project I did in first grade and threw them all in the basket. I purchased large plastic kid tweezers for the kids to use to pick up the poms and sort them. I was VERY impressed with Gunnar's organizational skills and a friend joined him to help do some more! What fun!!
