Our little class had the BEST day yesterday for Halloween. We started out by making the sounds in a haunted house and scaring Mrs. Wickham!! Then we read some of my favorite Halloween stories, including listening to Big Pumpkin for about the 5th time!! I'm sorry this video doesn't show the beautiful illustrations in the whole book, but you can hear the adorable story.
Next up we ate yummy dirt pudding from Easton's mom and had our costume Show and Tell. We also made a big, giant graph, because making things huge is always more fun, to show what the most popular kinds of costumes were and talked a little about most and least.
LOTS of TV/Movie characters... and not a single one from a favorite book. We're gonna have to work on that because books are some of my favorite things!!
At the end of the day when the kids went out to recess I put on my witches costume to get ready for stirring up some witches brew and was met with squeals of delight and some giggles from the other adults! :)
Ala-kuh-zam Ala-kuh-zoo we're mixing up our "Witches Brew"!!
Everyone got to help at least once!
And then we got to eat this beautiful mix!!
We scared Mrs. Wickham's socks off again when she saw a witch in the classroom!!
FUN party!!
You can pick up the Witches Brew packet from Teacher Pay Teachers for free by clicking the picture below... trust me your kids will love it and ask if it is real food or not. It's fun to be convincing!!
